Plan-A Consultancy, a leading sustainability advisory firm based in East London, Shoreditch, specialises in ESG strategy, carbon management, and circular-economy solutions. In March 2025, their team partnered with Time4Trees at the Atlas Park site for a hands-on tree planting for businesses day.
As part of their commitment to “walk the talk,” Plan-A planted over 700 native saplings. Each sapling represented one tonne of CO₂ they aimed to neutralise, helping the company bring its 2024 emissions to net zero.

Project Overview
The project began with a detailed carbon audit by Plan-A Consultancy. This identified 700 tonnes of CO₂ to offset. Time4Trees prepared native saplings, including English oak, silver birch, and field maple, in the on-site nursery.
On planting day, Plan-A’s team received practical guidance on pit digging, species selection, and tree placement to maximise survival rates and ecological benefit. Each tree was GPS-tagged and enrolled under the Woodland Carbon Code, giving Plan-A real-time tracking and annual reporting through the Time4Trees Hub.
The result is a thriving 700-tree woodland. It delivers verified carbon offsetting for businesses, supports local biodiversity, and provides an authentic team-building experience.
