Introduction
Plan A Consultants is a UK-based sustainability advisory firm specialising in ESG strategy, carbon management and circular-economy solutions. In March 2025, their entire team joined Time4Trees at our Atlas Park site for a hands-on planting day. As part of their commitment to walk the talk, Plan A Consultants planted over 700 native saplings—one for each tonne of CO₂ they aimed to neutralise—bringing their company’s 2024 emissions to net zero. This immersive experience not only demonstrated their sustainability values but also fostered team cohesion and left a lasting, measurable impact on local biodiversity.
Project Overview
The project began with a detailed carbon audit by Plan A Consultants, establishing 700 tonnes of CO₂ to offset. Time4Trees then prepared saplings of native species—English oak, silver birch, field maple and more—in our on-site nursery. On planting day, Plan A’s team learned best practices for pit digging, species selection and tree-siting to maximise survival rates and ecological benefit. Each tree was GPS-tagged and enrolled under the Woodland Carbon Code, providing Plan A with real-time tracking and annual reporting via the Time4Trees Hub. The result: a thriving 700-tree woodland, verified carbon removal, and an authentic team-building experience that underpins Plan A’s sustainability credentials.
